Prayer

Paul writes to the Christians in Philippi, "Do not be anxious about anything. Instead, in every situation, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, tell your requests to God" (Philippians 4:6). Prayer is the expression of praise and thanksgiving, confession and petition, supplication and intercession.

Sunday Joys and Concerns

During worship on Sunday mornings, worshipers have the opportunity share the joys in their life, along with those people, places and situations that are in need of prayer.

Prayer Network

Between Sundays there are often prayer requests that arise. Christ the King is blessed to have a group of people that are committed to praying for others - intercessory prayers. The Prayer Network shares those prayer requests, lifting up prayers from our congregation and surrounding community about illness and healing, worries and joys, death and new life. They receive these prayers via e-mail when they are requested and only share the information given by prayer requester.

If you have prayer requests, they can easily be shared by filling out the back of the blue card distributed with the Sunday bulletin. During the week prayer requests are received via e-mail at mail@ctkvestal.org.

If you have a prayer request that you feel is for the pastor only just indicate that when you make a prayer request. We will honor that request.

If you feel called to serve as a member of the Prayer Network send a note to mail@ctkvestal.org.
