Middle School is full of changes and transitions; new school, new friends. Those transitions occur here at church as well. The Middle School years are a time of transition to, and preparation for our Confirmation Ministry, which typically begins in 8th grade. Throughout the two-year program, students go on a journey through the Old and New Testaments and exploring the connections between Biblical stories.

Throughout the year, students will also learn more about different religions and denominations by studying and visiting them for worship. We will look at faith communities like Judaism and Islam, Roman Catholic and a variety of protestant denominations. These visits give youth an appreciation for other communities as well as helping them to think about who we are in comparison with other communities of faith. This sets up the confirmation ministry for answering questions about why we do what we do as a congregation.
