Eucharistic Ministers

Eucharistic Ministers take communion, on a regular basis, from our Sunday worship to members who are homebound, in nursing homes, or separated from regular worship in other ways for extended periods of time.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

Compassion and the love of knitting/crocheting have been combined into a prayerful ministry and spiritual practice which reaches out to those in need of comfort and solace, as well as in celebration and joy. Many blessings are prayed into every shawl. Current Leaders are Marge King and Althea Zayleskie. The prayer shawl group is taking the summer off & will start up again September (Thursday) at 9:30-11:30 AM.

CTK Meal Train

Sometimes the last thing you want to think about is making supper. That’s where CTK Meal Train comes in. Culling from Jesus’ ability to feed 5000 men, plus women and children, and have twelve baskets of food left over, so too does our congregation hope to feed each other in times of need. One of the ministry’s chefs delivers a meal to those just home from the hospital from an illness surgery or birth and families who are dealing with a death or family crisis. Contact Denise Scalzo to learn how you can become a part of this ministry.
