Children & Youth

Martin Luther said, “we cannot, on our own, believe in God but it is only through the power of the Holy Spirit.” At Christ the King this means that parents and non-parent adults alike participate in the Holy Spirit’s work to nurture young people’s faith and help them grow into adulthood.

In our Children’s and Youth ministries, Christ the King’s mission is to share the teachings of the Christian faith in words and in action and partner young people with adult Christian mentors who call them by name and support them in their journey of faith. Our hope is to provide young people with an extended Christian family that provides children and youth a resource pool of adults who can help them develop their own understanding of faith and be ready to take on some of the more difficult question of life as they arise.
