The Jesus & Friends curriculum utilizes the Workshop Rotation Model. With this model, students explore one Bible story over the course of three to four weeks, rotating each week to a variety of workshops. Workshops are designed to allow students to experience the Bible lesson in creative, hands-on, and interactive ways.
Unlike the “traditional” classroom model which requires students to “sit, listen, and learn”, this model enables students to “learn by doing”. Tapping into a variety of learning-styles, Jesus & Friends enables students to learn while having fun, being creative, getting out of their seats, and discovering new things about themselves and their faith in Jesus. Through active participation and weekly repetition, our mission is to help students truly learn the stories of the Bible.
